The program will immerse you in the world of snow-capped Himalayan peaks and beautiful Kanchenjunga, tell about the mysteries of Tibetan Buddhism and acquaint you with life in Buddhist monasteries. You will feel the special atmosphere of the closed and secluded state of Sikkim, formerly a separate kingdom and see the rich flora and fauna of West Bengal. You will try fragrant real Darjeeling tea and in Kalimpong visit the house-museum of the Roerich family.

  • Day 2 - Delhi To Darjeeling Via Bagdogra

    Breakfast. Flight to Bagdogra. Meeting at the airport with the representative of Sushant Travels and transfer to Darjeeling (100km) on the road passing through a very beautiful area. Overnight in Darjeeling.

  • Day 3 - Darjeeling

    Breakfast. Darjeeling, a city located at an altitude of more than 2000m among the highest mountain peaks, the highest of which is Kanchenjunga (8598m). Early in the morning visit the Tiger's Hill, watching the sunrise. Return to the hotel, on the way visit the most famous monastery of Ghum, a small crossing on a toy railway. Then visit the Himalayan Institute of Mountaineering, a Tibetan camp, a local market, a museum, a botanical garden, a tea plantation. Overnight in Darjeeling.

  • Day 4 - Darjeeling

    Breakfast. Moving along the toy railway to Ghum. Dining is best in the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the museum, botanical garden and tea plantation. Overnight in Darjeeling.

  • Day 5 - Darjeeling To Pemayangtse

    Breakfast. Transfer to Pemayangtse (65km). Visit to the monastery of Pemayangtse, founded in the 17th century. In the afternoon, visit the second largest monastery in Sikkim, belonging to the Nyingma-Pa sect. Free time. Overnight in Pemayangtse.

  • Day 6 - Pemayangtse To Yuksom

    Breakfast. Transfer to Yuksom (35 km, 1.5 hours). On the way, a survey of Lake Khecheopalery (sacred lake for Buddhists, fulfilling desires), Dubdi Monastery, Narbughang Stupa. In the evening free time. Yuksom is the first capital of the Sikkim kingdom, hence the trekking routes to the Goecha La pass.

  • Day 7 - Departure To Gangtok

    Breakfast. Transfer to Gangtok (127km) - the capital of Sikkim, stretched along the banks of the Ranipul River. Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel, excursion to the monastery Enchey. Overnight in Gangtok. On the way, you will admire the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, rhododendrons, orchids, rare species of butterflies.

  • Day 8 - Gangtok

    Breakfast. Excursion to the Rumtek Monastery - the residence of Gyalwa Karmapa, the head of the Kagyupa Order of Tibetan Buddhism, the Institute of Tibetology, the inspection of the Chorten Do-Drul Stupa - one of the most important in Sikkim. Overnight in Gangtok.

  • Day 9 - Gangtok To Kalimpong

    Breakfast. Moving to Kalimpong (80 km) - the city of many monasteries. Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel, an excursion with a visit to several monasteries and croquet houses, where Roerich E.I spent the last years of her life, a nursery of cacti. Overnight in Kalimpong.

  • Day 10 - Kalimpong To Delhi Via Bagdogra

    Breakfast. Transfer to Bagdogra for boarding a plane to Delhi. Free time on arrival. Stay overnight in Hotel.

  • Day 11 - Departure from Delhi.

    Early morning breakfast, departure transfer to airport towards your next destination or return to home.
