Mountain resort Darjeeling is considered a visiting card of West Bengal. The city continues to be a popular tourist resort in many ways due to the beautiful mountain scenery. It is still the only city in Eastern India, hosting a large number of foreign tourists. Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world, covered with glaciers and snow, like a magnet attracts the attention of all visitors. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of this misty region, you can forget about any problems for a long time.

  • Day 2: Darjeeling

    In the morning visit the Buddhist monastery of Old Ghum, the center for the conservation and breeding of snow leopards, the monastery of Bhutia Busti, the center of traditional Tibetan crafts. In the evening, relax and stroll around the local, colorful bazaar. Overnight in Darjeeling.

  • Day 3: Darjeeling-Yuksam (about 4.5-5.5 hours)

    Early in the morning, a sunrise over the Himalayas on the Tiger Hill (height 2590 m, about 11 km from Darjeeling), where the Sacred Mountain of Kanchenjunga appears in all its glory. On the way back visit to the Monastery of New Ghum (residence of Kalki Rimpoche) and Batasia Loup. After breakfast, a short rest and departure to Yuksam. On the way visit the Tashiding Monastery - the storehouse of the mystical `Holy Chalice ', an important place of the Buddhist Order of Nyingyap, built in the 18th century and famous for its Holy Chortens (Stupas), according to legend, purifying all sins of believers.   • Day 4: The Yuksam. Small Tracking.

    In the morning after breakfast, walk to one of the oldest monasteries of Sikkim - Dubdi. 30 minutes trekking, and you find yourself on the top of a hill that opens up fascinating views of the mountains and is a great place for meditation. After a short rest in the afternoon, walk to the historic Throne of Norbugang and to the tiny Sacred Lake Kathok. Night in Yuksam.

  • Day 5: Yuksam-Pelling (about 35 km)

    After breakfast, we continue our journey and go to Pelling. On the way to Pelling, stop at the Sacred Lake of the goddess Tara - the lake `Willing wishes` -` Khichipalri` and the waterfall `Kanchenjunga`. In the afternoon, visit one of the oldest and most important monasteries of Sikkim - the monastery Pemayangtse (height 2085 m). This monastery was founded in 1705, but damaged during earthquakes in 1913 and 1960. was rebuilt several times. Today Pemayangtse Monastery is a magnificent three-story building, whose walls are decorated with wonderful frescoes. Night in Peling.

  • Day 6: Pelling

    In the morning after breakfast, walk to the monastery of Sanga Chaoling (`Island of esoteric knowledge`). In the afternoon Ruins of Rumtek, the remains of the second capital of Sikkim in 1814. A beautiful evening can be spent admiring the snow-covered Kanchenjunga. Night in Peling.

  • Day 7: Pelling Rumtek through Ravanglu and Samdrupts (160 km-6 hours).

    After breakfast we leave Pelling. The journey to Rumtek will take place through the magical landscape of South Sikkim with a walk through the picturesque town of Ravangla (2100m), located between the hills of Myanmar and Tendons. Afterwards, we will head to Samdruptse, to the highest in the world statue of Guru Padma Sambhava (135 feet), built by Buddhist devotees. And we will continue our trip to the eastern Sikkim to Rumtek Monastery, the second largest in Asia after Lhasa. In the evening free time. Overnight in Rumtek.

  • Day 8: Rumtek - Gangtok - Rumtek

    This morning we will visit the Rumtek monastery, which is the residence of the head of the Karma Kagyu school, the Karmapa XVII in Tibetan Buddhism. One of the most significant religious sites of Sikkim. The monastery was built in 1960 by His Holiness the last 16th Gyalwa Karmapa. Walk to Sri Nalanda Institute. After lunch, a trip to Gangtok, the capital of the state of Sikkim, a visit to the Enche monastery and the center of local crafts.

  • Day 9: Rumtek-Kalimpong (1588 m), 221 km / 6.5 hours)

    Today after breakfast we go to Kalimpong. A wonderful journey will take place along the green banks of the Tista River. Crossing Rongpo the border of Sikkim and Bengal. On the way, it is possible to make an unforgettable rafting on the river Tista (1.5 hours) (additional program). Kalimpong is a small town located in the low Himalayas and famous for its mild climate, views of Kanchenjunga and orchids. In the afternoon we will visit the nursery of orchids, the Museum of the Roerichs' House, and the place of the burial of Helena Roerich, the monastery of Zang Dhok Palri Phodang, the largest and most beautiful monastery in Kalimpong, founded in 1976 by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The monastery refers to the direction of the Yellow-Hookers in Buddhism. In the evening, you can stroll around the local Bazaar.

  • Day 10: Kalimpong Bagdogra (about 3.5 hours). Departure to Delhi.

    After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, check-in at the hotel. In the evening walk to the colorful Indian market.

  • Day 11: Delhi - Departure.

    Early in the morning transfer to the international/national airport and flight to home or towards your next destination. We wish a happy journey!
