TOUR OVERVIEW: A ‘Hill Station’ is a town sitting atop low mountains or hills i.e. at an elevation higher than the plains. This term was used in those parts of Asia which were under colonial rule; whereas these hill station towns were founded by the Colonial powers which were ruling the region.
