This is one of to the oldest structures of Kashmir. The temple holds some Persian scriptures as old as the reigning period of Shah Jahan.

• Hazratbal Mosque: This mosque is a famous tourist spot and is much revered by the local people, as it has in its store a relic – a hair of the famous Kashmiri prophet Muhammad Moie-Muqqadas.
