This breathtaking artwork is surrounding with equally breathtaking natural vistas and requires 1 hour 30 minutes of trek to reach its entrance.

• Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary: This Wildlife Sanctuary is the part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve which was India’s 1^st Biosphere reserve, and is overflowing with biodiversity. • Bathery Jain Temple: The Bathery Jain Temple was constructed in the 13^th century and was used by the great Tipu Sultan for the purpose of storing ammunition; hence it is also referred to as Tipu’s Fort. The Temple at present is mostly in ruins but is a slice of history that cannot be missed.

• Seetha Devi Temple, Pulpally: Pulpally village in Sultan Batthery is well known for its Seeta Devi Temple. It is believed that Pulpally is the place where Goddess Sita stayed when she was abandoned by Lord Rama. Luv and Kusha were also born here so that this temple here has idols of Goddess Sita and her two children Luv and Kush.

• Pallikkunnu Church: Pallikkunnu Church or ‘Our Lady of Lourdes’ or ‘Lourde Matha Church’ was built in 1908 and is the oldest intact Latin catholic Church of Wayanad. The rather interesting feature of this church is the fact that various practices and rituals of this church resemble that of a Hindu temple.

• The Bamboo Factory, Uravu: Uravu literally means ‘bamboo village’, and in this village is situated the Bamboo Factory. This Factory solves two purposes – one that of providing livelihood to rural craftsmen and giving the tourists an intimate experience of how various bamboo items are made, even interaction with the craftsmen is possible so as to learn about their experiences.

• Ambalavayal/ Wayanad Heritage Museum: This is also referred to as Ambalavayal Heritage Museum. The museum displays a collection of numerous artifacts and tribal relics such as jewelry and pictorial rocks and musical instruments which show the heritage, the history and the culture of Wayanad. The collection has remnants which date back to as early as the 2^nd Century. It is the largest archaeological museum in Kerala.
