The huge, eternally crowded, colorful Bangkok is the capital of Thailand, one of the main business, cultural and tourist centers of the kingdom. It is located on the coast of the Chao Phraya River, not far from the Gulf of Thailand. The small port town, once called Bang Kok - "a place where olives grow" - has overgrown incredibly over time, but still it is difficult to accommodate 8 million inhabitants and numerous tourists, an endless stream of people coming from all over the world. Cosmopolitan Bangkok blurs the boundaries between east and west, between history and modernity. In an urban metropolis with hundreds of skyscrapers and business centers, the legacy of the past is sacredly honored, and the excellently preserved architectural monuments are the main confirmation of this. • Day 03: Siem Reap, Kulen Plateau

Breakfast in the hotel. A trip deep into Cambodia - to the Kulen Plateau (about 50 kilometers from Siem Reap, an hour and a half drive through villages, farmlands, rice fields and temples). Few people visit these places, and yet they are worth seeing: You will go through the jungle and see a piece of the virgin nature of this country. There is a sacred mountain, where Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims come, on which there is a Buddhist monastery of the 16th century, in which you will see an 8-meter statue of a reclining Buddha who has reached Nirvana; a beautiful waterfall in which you can swim, as well as a small river, on the stone bottom of which are carved figures of the god Vishnu and his wife near his feet. Continuation of the excursion program, during which you will visit: - the famousthe Banteay Srey temple with magnificent decorative carvings; - Temple Banteay Samre , whose walls of sandstone pink are decorated with the most perfect carvings in Angkor and bas-reliefs. At the end of the day, you have to relax on a one-hour session of foot massage. Then you can take a walk on the "street of pubs" that teem with people, with its many bars and restaurants, and also visit the night market - an ideal place for shopping for souvenirs.

  • Day 04: Siem Reap

Breakfast in the hotel. Today we will travel to the area of the Beng Melea temple, which is located in the southern part of the foot of the mountain Phnom Kulen, 40 km east of Angkor, passing the majestic temple of Preah Khan. This place was the beginning of the canal that led to the great Tonle Sap lake and whose purpose, apparently, was the fusion of blocks of sandstone from nearby quarries for the construction of Angkor objects. Our tracking will begin with a bamboo forest near the village of Piang-Komna. We will find a number of drawings of the Angkorian themes carved on the southern slope of Phnom-Kulen and come down to us in extremely good condition. This is one of the least known trails of Angkor. After lunch, we will begin our return journey to Siem Reap, stopping on our way to Beng Melea, a unique XI century temple that can compete with its square with Angkor Wat. The main part of the temple occupies 108 hectares and is surrounded by a moat 45 m wide. Despite the fact that it belongs to the Angkor era, its sculptures and friezes are distinct in style and tonality. Most of the temple is surrounded by jungle, which gives him additional secrecy.
