Library of Tibetan Works and Archives is located at McLeodganj town of Dharamsala, in Himachal Pradesh. It was established by the 14th Dalai Lama and serves as a foundation to preserve and promote Tibetan culture. It owns more than 80,000 Tibetan artefacts, such as statues, Tibetan thangkas, miniature paintings, great books, documents, photographs and old manuscripts on display.  It is housed in the building structured and designed in Tibetan style of architectural, LTWA was initiated on 11th June 1970. It is settled within the premises of the Tibetan Government in exile, permit for this home at Dharamsala was given by Pandit. Jawahar Lal Nehru.
