By Air: Airport in JubbarHatti is the nearest airport to reach Kinnaur otherwise the most next international airport is in Delhi. From the airport buses, private vehicles and cabs are utilised on the route to the valley.

By Rail: The nearest railway station to reach Kinnaur is in Shimla. From the railway station, one can reach the valley by buses, cabs or other vehicles.

By Road: Kinnaur is well-connected town by roads. There are an ample amount of state govt provided buses and private buses ranging from normal class to luxury class which ensure you reach Kinnaur easily and other modes of transportation are also available.

BEST TIME TO VISIT KINNAUR:

The best time to visit Kinnaur is between the months of April and October. Between these months, you get to enjoy the pleasant weather. 

The cold winter makes way for beautiful summers. Winters over here are too cold from October to May and filled with snow completely making this place standstill.

Monsoons can make the roads quite dangerous not it not advisable to visit Kinnaur in both winter and monsoon seasons.
