HOW TO REACH GREAT HIMALAYAN NATIONAL PARK:
Great Himalayan National Park is found in the Seraj Forest Division, 60 km from Kullu in Himachal Pradesh.
By Airways: Bhuntar in Kullu is the nearest Airport to reach The Great Himalayan National Park, which is 60kms away.
By Railways: The nearest railways to The Great Himalayan National Park is Joginder Nagar, near Mandi which is about 143 km away.
By Roadways: There are no direct motorable roads to The Great Himalayan National Park alternatively there are few gravel paths. From Kullu, you either have to take Ropa to Shangarh in Sainj Valley route and from Gushaini to Ropa in Tirthan Valley route and reach the park gate.
BEST TIME TO VISIT GREAT HIMALAYAN NATIONAL PARK:
To behold the best of environment and wonderful flora and fauna, March to June and Mid-September to November are the best time to visit the Great Himalayan National Park in Himachal Pradesh.
It is recommended not to visit during winters and monsoons.
