Every day we can see thousands of people come across the Mukarba Chowk those are completely unaware of the fact that behind those glorious flyovers and grade separator lies a marvellous Lodi Era monument. Hidden in the ever-growing solid jungle of the metro city that Delhi is, the monument still holds to its immortality. The meaning of the word Paik spell out to the messenger, hence making it a tomb for a messenger. But there were thousands during the period of Lodi , which means the one lying there must be an significant figure in the Lodi court. Like as usual Lodi design, the crypt also receives a small portion of sunlight from all four sides, politeness of four perforations.
