Your first day in Leh will help you acclimatize to the tough environment once our staff receives you at the airport and take you to the hotel. Bounded by two of the world's mightiest mountain ranges, the Great Himalaya and the Karakoram, it lies athwart two also known as the land of passes.

We will also take you to Sankar Gompa and Shanti Stupa. Sankar Monastery is a Buddhist monastery within a half-hour walk from Leh.
After breakfast, you will have a full day for sightseeing at Shey, Thicksey, and Hemis. Shey used to be the summer Palace of Ladakhi rulers. You will see a 36 feet high statue of Buddha made of copper and covered with gold. The 12-storey monastery of Thicksey is situated in the most prominent of positions, lies on an island Mountain.
