Preparation for Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan Latest Updates

In Ayodhya, the exact place of where Lord Ram was believed to be born, the declared ‘disputed land’ which was once the reason for religious disputes, and where Babri Masjid had once stood until 6th December 1992, is having a new start – one which is hoped to bring a religious unity on the auspicious Fullmoon day. On 5th of August 2020 presided by Honorable PM Narendra Modi, the foundation of ‘Ram Mandir Ayodhya’ will be laid at the Breaking Ground i.e. the Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan Ceremony. This temple has been a dream of a number of Ram Lalla / Infant Lord Ram’s devotees all over the country. And today we have for you the most recent Ram Mandir Updates.

The Preparations On The Way:

Ayodhya, the Birth place of Lord Ram i.e. Ram janma-bhumi is all decked up, and as stated Deputy CM of UP, they are considering this ceremony equal to the celebration of our National Festival. The UP government has been active and attentive on all the preparations of this grand ceremony. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Honourable Yogi Adityanath has given orders to celebrate the 3 days from 3rd to the 5th of August like Diwali. 1.25 lakh diyas will be lit at banks of Sarayu river; Ram ki Pauri and 25 other important places. Even all people are invited to light diyas at their home for these three days.

CM of UP Honourable Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, Tourism Minister Honourable Pralhad Sinh Patel, UP Tourism Minister Neelkanth Tiwari, all have visited the Ram Bhumi, and the Ram Bhumi Pilgrimage Trust to keep a vigil on the preparations.

The city is wearing a festive look, roads and streets are getting a makeover, images depicting Lord Ram’s story are being drawn at various places all over the city, the houses and buildings which Honorable PM Narendra Modi will be passing are all being painted in yellow. The dresses to be draped around the statures of Lord Ram and his brothers Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughna are prepared. They are green in colour and studded with 9 different gems. Also, preparations are in place to make 1,11,000 Desi Ghee Ladoos for Prasad, which will be distributed to all devotees.

A waterproof Pavilion is in construction for the function of Bhumi Pujan, the walls surrounding the Pavilion are being painted with pictures depicting the life story of Lord Ram.150 invitees are finalized for attending the Ground breaking ceremony along with 50 VVIPS. Within the Pavilion, 4 blocks of fifty people each are being constructed for seating arrangements of the invitees. The norms of social distancing in the arrangements are being maintained. The invitees have not been disclosed however, there will be presence of Hon. PM Narendri Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, BJP veteran and leaders who had been involved in Ram Mandir Andolan such as LK Adwani, Sadhvi Chidambara, Uma Bhari, Murli Manoher Joshi, will be in attendance of this much awaited historical moment.

On The Day Of Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan:

On 5th of August 2020, PM Modi’s chopper will land at Saket University in Ayodhya. Modiji will reach the Ram Mandir Ayodhya premises at around 11:30 am, after which the bhumi pujan will be carried out within an hour. During the Puja, a brick made from 400kg silver will be established. The the Puja Muhurt i.e. the auspicious timing for the Puja is at 12:15 pm, post which PM will be giving a speech. At that time, Scale model of the mandir will be unveiled in the presence of PM. Do note that Modiji will be digitally shown the model of the temple earlier, and later only the design will be made public. There is a possibility of the PM allocating Rs. 500 Crore for development of Ayodhya.

The whole country (globe actually) will have its eye on this auspicious day in India’s history. There will be Live Telecast of the Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan Ceremony on Doordarshan, giant LED Screens will be placed all over the Delhi City which will show the live telecast of the ceremony to all the Capital City dewellers. Even the giant Billboard present on New York Times Square will be showing 3 D images of Lord Shri Ram and Ram Mandir Ayodhya on the D’day from 8:00 am till 10:00 pm.

The Structure Of The Ram Mandir Ayodhya:

Since 1990 Architect Chandrakant Sompura had been planning the layout of Ram Mandir Ayodhya, who is continuing with the new plan which will begin its construction from 5th of August. What was initially planned to be 128 feet high 2 storyed temple, is now planned to spread over about 69 acres and will able to accomodate 10,000 devotees at the same time. The temple is to be 140ft wide, 161ft high and constructed in 3 stories, having 318 pillars i.e. 106 pillars per floor. The imageries depicting Hindu Mythology will be carved on the pillars, the structure will have 5 Domes with and a single Peak over the statue of Ram Lalla. Not only that, the structure will be constructed so that it’ll be able to withstand earthquake shocks even of 10 Richter scale. The completion of the Temple is estimated to take about three and half years and may be completed by 2023. For the construction, stones have been brought in from Bharatput, Jodhpur in Rajasthan and white marble has been brought from Makrana.

For the Bhumi Pujan ceremony, earth and water from a number of sacred places from all over the country has been brought in. The Bhumi Pujan or ground breaking will be done at the place where the inner sanctum of the Mandir is designed to be and the construction will start from there.
